To all interested Kings County stakeholders,
 
Kings County Behavioral Health (KCBH), in accordance with the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA), Welfare and Institutions Code (WIC) Section 5848, and Title 9 of the California Code of Regulations (CCR) section 3300, is issuing a Notice of Public Hearing regarding the Kings County Electronic Health Records (EHR) Innovation Project and is seeking county stakeholder and community input regarding the posted Innovation Project at www.KCHB.org 
 
A PUBLIC HEARING will be held by Kings County Behavioral Health on Monday September 26, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. in the Hope Room located at 460 Kings County Drive, Suite 101, Hanford, CA, for the purpose of receiving further public comment on the Kings County MHSA EHR Innovation Project.
 
Written comments and/or questions should be addressed to KCBH, Attn: Fil Leanos, MHSA Program Manager, 460 Kings County Drive, Suite# 101, Hanford CA 93230 or via email at Filiberto.Leanos@co.kings.ca.us. 

Interpreter services will be made available upon request. Please RSVP to 559-852-2386 for the Public Hearing, should you have any special needs that need to be met prior to the Hearing date. 


A todas las partes interesadas del Condado de Kings,
 
Salud Conductual del Condado de Kings (KCBH, por sus siglas en inglés), de acuerdo con la Ley de Servicios de Salud Mental (MHSA, por sus siglas en inglés), el Código de Bienestar e Instituciones (WIC, por sus siglas en inglés), sección 5848, y el Título 9 del Código de Reglamentos de California (CCR, por sus siglas en inglés), sección 3300, está emitiendo un Aviso de Audiencia Pública con respecto al Proyecto de Innovación de Registros de Salud Electrónicos del Condado de Kings (EHR, por sus siglas en inglés) y está buscando la opinión de los interesados del condado y de la comunidad con respecto al Proyecto de Innovación publicado en www.KCHB.org.
 
Una AUDIENCIA PÚBLICA se llevará a cabo en  Salud del Comportamiento del Condado de Kings el lunes 26 de septiembre de 2022, a las 12:00 p.m. en la Sala de la Esperanza ubicada en 460 Kings County Drive, Suite 101, Hanford, CA, con el propósito de recibir más comentarios públicos sobre el Proyecto de Innovación de EHR del Condado de Kings.

​24/7 Free Medi-Nurse Call Line Launches for COVID-19 Questions: (877) 409-9052

DHCS launched a free, 24/7 Medi-Nurse advice line to answer questions about COVID-19 for anyone who: ·        
Doesn’t have insurance or  Is a Medi-Cal beneficiary but doesn’t have a regular doctor or managed care plan to oversee their care. The nurses who field the questions can help callers: Understand if symptoms might be related to COVID-19,         Determine whether they need to self-isolate, Decide if they need to see a doctor to get tested and/or treated, Connect with a Medi-Cal provider who can help them get enrolled.
